Exploding Yogurt

Posted by Scraps

Not a band name, that I’m aware of, but it sounds like it would be, right?

Nope, it’s what happened tonight at the grocery store. You know I think that’s the first item I’ve ever actually broken or damaged in any sort of store in my 32 1/2 years. And of course there were two employees stocking the other type of organic yogurt right there to witness (and, thankfully, clean up) as the cup tipped from my fingers and went crashing to the floor. I didn’t even realize, at first, that my slacks got slimed in the process.

It was an inauspicious start to the errand but, thankfully, no other mishaps occurred. It did throw me off, though.

In other news, I was reminded today that it’s only 7 weeks til Christmas. Holy Carp! I think it’s time for a big huge all-encompassing list of things to do before the end of the year just so I can get a handle on everything that needs planning and executing and starting before Jan 1. Next year is looking to be even crazier than this one, in wonderfully fabulous ways and all, but it’s still going to take a boat load of time management skills that I’ve gotten a little rusty on.
